Back to Peregrine Falcons

After watching the Peregrine in action, the other falcons were positiviely sedate, although in reality their attacks on the lure were still conducted at very high speeds.

Lanner Falcon

'Butter wouldn't melt...'

The lure was spun around and tossed up, keeping the bird on its toes (well, on its claws).

I took over a thosand photos on this photoshoot; The action was too fast for shots like this, so we prefocussed, panned and hoped!

Another V shaped attack

This bird could still turn on a 6d!

Jer-Saker Hybrid Falcon

Note the radio transmitter fastened to the tail of all the birds when they were taken for flights. There is always a chance that a foolish, tasty rabbit is out in a nearby field...

'What, fly away? Moi?'
