Benbecula in September

Back To South Uist in September

Our trip down to the tiny Port Pheadair was made on a still day with softer lighting.  If any of the photos look blurred, it's because the midges were rather insistent on getting their tea.

The tourist board kindly supplied the little red boat to complete the picture

Loch Chill Eireabhaigh is a salt-water loch, although the opening to the sea is actually very small, so it makes a good natural harbour.

These final shots are taken over the Bach Nam Faoilean, which separates North Uist from Benbecula.  You can just see the causeway on the horizon.
